Our Commitment to Security and Privacy
Assistly Care Inc. recognizes the importance of protecting sensitive information entrusted to its platform. We incorporate security and privacy considerations into the development, operation, and improvement of our services for senior care organizations.
Data Protection and Security Practices
Assistly seeks to maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information it processes and the services it provides. These practices are intended to support confidentiality, authorized access, responsible data handling, risk management, and ongoing improvement. Specific measures and responsibilities may depend on the service, configuration, and applicable agreements.
HIPAA and Healthcare Information
Assistly services may be used by senior care organizations to process information that qualifies as protected health information (PHI). When Assistly acts as a business associate under HIPAA, applicable legal obligations apply to its handling of PHI. Where required, a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) must be in place with the relevant covered entity or business associate. A statement on this website does not replace any legally required agreement or safeguard.
Customer Access and Responsibilities
Customer organizations are responsible for determining which personnel are authorized to use their accounts, managing access appropriately, protecting account credentials, and ensuring that information submitted to the services is accurate and lawfully handled. Clinical and care-related decisions remain the responsibility of customers and appropriately qualified professionals.
Third-Party Services and Integrations
Assistly may use service providers and integrations to support its infrastructure, functionality, and operations. Where a provider processes PHI on Assistly’s behalf and HIPAA requires a subcontractor BAA, the applicable legal and contractual requirements govern that relationship.
AI and Automated Features
Assistly may provide automated or AI-assisted functionality for operational and care-related workflows. Outputs should be reviewed by appropriately qualified personnel and must not be treated as a substitute for professional judgment, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency response. Applicable agreements and privacy disclosures govern the use of information in these features.
Security and Privacy Inquiries
For questions about privacy, security practices, or applicable contractual arrangements, contact Assistly Care Inc. at info@assistly.care. Please do not include PHI or other sensitive personal information in an initial email unless a secure method has been arranged.
Ongoing Improvement
Security and privacy require continued attention. Assistly reviews and develops its practices as its services, customer needs, technology, and applicable legal requirements evolve.
